Bénédicte Brouard, a seasoned business professional, joined Positive Moves in April 2010 as Partner and helped set up the firm’s French practice. She has since, managed key partnerships with French Businesses across sectors, and has a broad network of relationships in emerging markets like India, Asia Pacific, the Middle East & Africa.
For 25 years, Bénédicte has been instrumental in the success of Sonepar as Director of External Relations (including Finance, Purchasing, Sales, and Development) and then Executive Vice-President. In early 2000, she helped accelerate the development of a number of mid-sized firms and start-ups, and in 2002 she founded B-REF, a consulting firm. A senior corporate leader with a strong international background, she is also Conseiller du Commerce.Extérieur de la France.
She created the Parisian Committee of CCEF and led it as President for 11 years. A Member of IFA , the French Institute of Board Members, she is also active in a number of women’s networking groups such as The Women’s Forum, the Club L-Femmes Forum and Women in Africa. She has a passion for entrepreneurship and is a member of the Investment Committee of Aurinvest.
She holds a degree in History from the Sorbonne University and  dual Masters’ degrees in Management and Political Science from the Paris Dauphine University and the Institut d‘Etudes Politiques of Paris. She is an alumni of the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Defense Nationale, Knight of the French Legion of Honour, Officer of the French  National Merite & Vice-President of the University Paris Dauphine Foundation.
