Gautam is a Partner at Positive Moves and is active in our work across Telecom, Tech and Consumer sectors. He enjoys helping CEO’s and CHRO’s think through digital transformation and its implication on people, organization design and ways of working. In addition to leading several C-level engagements, Gautam is playing a key role in building Positive Moves’ advisory practice. With clients spread across 4 continents, he has developed a deep understanding of global talent hotspots and trends and is a trusted advisor to CEO’s.

Prior to Positive Moves, Gautam was the Chief People Officer at Airtel India and South Asia where he led several successful transformations during a period of dramatic disruption in Indian Telecom industry. Airtel is $10B integrated telecommunications company that serves close to 300 million customers. Gautam played a pivotal role in helping Airtel transform from a Telco to a Digital Products company and gained deep insight into building a digital employer brand. He continues to mentor several HR leaders and is actively involved in coaching two Startup’s. Before joining Airtel, Gautam spent over a decade in the US in cross functional roles across PwC, Citibank and Heinz.

Gautam holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, USA, and a Bachelors degree from Sri Ram College of Commerce. He lives with his wife and two sons in Gurugram, India and is an avid marathon runner.
