Rizwan (Riz) Hazarika is a Partner in our Singapore office, leading and growing Positive Moves’ South-East Asia and wider APAC practice.
Riz brings over 25 years of experience across Big Four consulting and senior operator roles, giving him a distinctive perspective on leadership, transformation and organisational capability. He has lived and worked across South-East Asia, the US, the Middle East and India, and now calls Singapore home.
Most recently, Riz was part of EY’s ASEAN Consulting practice, advising clients on large-scale technology and digital transformation across the Industrial, Energy & Environment, Travel & MICE, and Public sectors.
Prior to EY, he served as Chief Digital and Technology Officer of a Temasek portfolio company, where he led an enterprise-wide digital transformation and built the digital and technology organisation from the ground up.
A particular area of expertise for Riz is building leadership, technology and operating capabilities for greenfield ventures and transformation programs.
At Positive Moves, he brings this operator-led perspective to executive search and leadership advisory across the region.
Beyond work, Riz mentors young Singaporean professionals and is an early-stage investor in emerging technology and AI ventures. He also enjoys running, yoga and military history, particularly its influence on the geopolitics of South-East Asia and India.
